This mahjong shop Malaysia guide lists real businesses that sell mahjong sets, tiles and tables. We group them by state, from the Klang Valley to Sabah. Each card shows what the shop sells, the prices we saw and where the details come from.

How we verify each mahjong shop Malaysia listing
We add a shop only if its own website, an official listing or a news report confirms it. We do not take payment for listings, and a listing is not an endorsement.
- Addresses. We show an address only when the business's own site or an official listing gives it. Otherwise, we show the area only.
- Prices. Every price is as displayed on the shop's page in October 2026. Prices change often, so check before you go.
- Gaps. We could not yet check shops in Ipoh, Kuching or many other towns. So this list is short, not complete.

Shopee and Lazada
Shopee and Lazada carry hundreds of mahjong listings, so they work like one giant mahjong shop Malaysia buyers can browse from home. For example, the BigGo price site counted about 482 Shopee listings and 52 Lazada listings for "automatic mahjong table" in October 2026. Travel sets there started at RM25.85, while full-size 144-tile sets cost about RM275 to RM530.
Older advice also pointed to shops in town. A 2016 Lowyat forum thread named Tesco, Giant, Popular, Mr DIY and pasar malam stalls. That thread is ten years old, so check stock first.
Tips for buying from any mahjong table shop or set seller
- Call ahead. Several shops on this list work by appointment only.
- Check the tile list. Make sure the set suits your game: 148 tiles with animals for the 4-player game, or 84 for the 3-player game.
- Ask about delivery. Delivery terms differ by seller. If you live in Sabah or Sarawak, ask about cost and time before you order.
- Ask about servicing. For an automatic table, find out who repairs it near you.
- Compare dated prices. Marketplace prices change daily, so compare on the same day.
